‘I have never regretted staying.’ - Harold Bobe has been Thieleaner for 50 years

Half a century of Harold Bobe and THIELE GmbH & Co. KG – a true success story

At just 15 years of age, young Harold Bobe signed his employment contract with THIELE GmbH & Co. KG on 1 September 1975 and has been a dedicated Thiele employee ever since. In his 50 years with the company, he has probably experienced more ups and downs than many other employees.

Mr Harold Bobe embodies everything that THIELE stands for: loyalty, experience and commitment.
He has been an integral part of THIELE for half a century and has worked his way up from industrial mechanic to master craftsman. A real success story.

A few of Harold's milestones:
1975: Start of training as an industrial mechanic
1978: Transfer to the central locksmith's shop (as maintenance was called at the time)
1983: Responsible for the maintenance of the machine park in Department 800
1985: Appointed master craftsman and responsible for the first ‘special machines’: NC machines
1985-2013: Development of the CNC machine park
2013-present: Responsible for the maintenance and expansion of the CNC lines in Department 300

His recipe for success: ‘I accepted and made the most of the educational opportunities I was given because I always wanted to get ahead.’
At the end of 2025, Mr Bobe will begin his well-deserved retirement and is already looking forward to tackling private projects that he otherwise had to put off. He is a doer through and through.

The company would like to express its sincere thanks to Mr Bobe for his unwavering loyalty and 50 years of service!
